This blog post was certainly confusing to read at first but in a sense, i understood it because when David was explaining how our senses are completely different in terms of perspective and how we feel about them personally, it clicked to me. The use of visuals and audio can give each person a completely different reaction from one another and how they respond to it radically different from one another, which is the beauty of art and how it can portray a different emotion for each person and how they perceive it. Whereas some art and some performances could lead to a mostly similar reaction from a large audience, personally with each person they all have their own different thoughts about it, even if it does end up to be the same reaction as the next person. An example can be John Cage's 4:33, the audience at the time all booed and even walked out their seats because they all had a similar reaction; "its silence, this is no performance at all!" one might say at John Cage's performance. In reality; however, there might be the slightest thought or reaction with that singular person that can distinguish a difference in opinion in comparison to the rest of the crowd at John Cage's performance. That right there is the beauty of perspective and how it is incredibly fluid when it comes to viewing art, whether it being visual or audio, or even both.
